Air-Cooled Rubber Back-up Pads

Norton air-cooled rubber back-up pads have a slotted aluminum hub design that draws cool air behind the fibre disc for cooler cutting action. They also have curved ribs on the rubber face to force heat away from the fibre disc and the back-up pad. The slots and ribs combine for much cooler cutting action, which in turn reduces disc loading and increase the life of grinding discs.
